Green Transition Challenged by the Metal Supply Chain

On March 12th 2020, a seminar on the challenges posed by the metal supply chain to Europe’s transition towards a carbon-neutral economy, will take place at the Flemish Parliament in Brussels.



The SecREEts (GA No 776559) project has the pleasure of being a co-organizer of the event, among a cluster of other projects funded under the European Commission research and innovation programme Horizon 2020 – NEMO (GA No 776846), CROCODILE (GA No 776473), TARANTULA (GA No 821159), ION4RAW (GA No 815748), NEXT (GA No 776804), MIREU (GA No 776811). The seminar will feature a panel of high-level experts, who will offer their perspectives on metal supply challenges and how they can be addressed. They will put forward recommendations to the European Commission and engage with the audience in an interactive debate. The seminar will be followed by a networking reception and a poster session.


The event starts at 12.30 and while participation is free, registration is obligatory to be able to enter the Flemish Parliament. More information about the event, available at this link.
